Paranormal investigators William and Jessica ventured out on a clear, misty night to document the grave site of "Little Willie" on May 18th, 2008 in Nutley NJ.
We had heard about the peculiar dating of the gravestone, which had been reported to mark the birthdate as being a month after the death date, on the same year in 1869. We heard about this legend originally through Weird New Jersey, and decided to pursue another investigation. Here are the photos we took of the gravestone and date, which have been smoothed down due to the age of this stone. Our conclusion is that its 95% inconclusive and 5% leaning towards the myth as true.
Another legend has it that if you circle the gravestone three times, you will be given bad luck. We did not test this theory during this investigation. William had done this 12 years ago around the year 2000 and concluded that none of the great misfortunes he has had was bestowed upon him by the legend of little Willy. But it did get him thinking.
